Our platform builds upon many years of research and development beginning in the technology labs of Siemens AG in 2003. Our team, which was acquired from Siemens in 2006, has world-renowned knowledge of Fiber Access Technologies spanning multiple generations in integrating TRUE Carrier Grade features delivered over PON.
Our software platform is accessible using any of the state of the art iPhotonix ONT’s or any third party ONT’s due to our uniquely flexible architecture that also enables us to work with almost any optical line terminal (OLT). Essentially, iPhotonix can port its software to any family of new ONTs using common (or reference design) hardware platform architecture. Our unique configurations are scalable for complex ONTs that serve multi-dwelling buildings, businesses, as well as requests for OEM specific customized features and services. Moreover, ONT’s that operate with our software platform are interoperable with most major Optical Access Gateways, Core Soft Switches and offer service providers the flexibility to scale their operation without dependencies or limitations on purpose built hardware.
We also specialize in bandwidth intensive services like, Mobile Backhaul, RF overlay and RF-return, & Triple & Quad Play Services which include HDTV-based IPTV, Broadband Internet, VOIP, and Video on Demand and many more.
